“Buildings are the second leading cause of the country’s greenhouse gas emissions. We make sustainable development a priority, because we know we have a responsibility to do better.”
Major Works & Energy department
Managing real estate assets requires specialist technical knowledge. Against the backdrop of climate change, while the building sector is the country’s 2nd leading cause of greenhouse gas emissions, our Major Works & Energy department aims to support our client owners with the energy transition in Geneva.
Structure, envelope and energy are some of the areas in which our teams must ensure their knowledge is up to date on a daily basis. Our keen experts are always at the cutting edge of new techniques, technologies and legislative standards in force, in order to provide our clients with assistance and advice towards completing and renovating their real estate projects.
Cleantech Construction Lab (CCL)
GRANGE Immobilier is one of the founding members of Cleantech Construction Lab. The CCL aims to act as a bridge between entrepreneurs operating in the field of sustainable construction and decision-makers in the building sector, with a view to facilitating the entrance of innovative solutions on the market and thereby reducing the carbon footprint of buildings not only in Switzerland but also elsewhere.

Signa-Terre
Data is a key aspect of informed decision-making to effectively reduce our buildings’ carbon footprint. With this in mind, we work closely with Signa-Terre to control all our energy data.

SIG-eco21 partner
We are partners of the SIG-eco21 programme which aims to encourage energy transition in the building sector. Our participation in this programme demonstrates our extensive knowledge of the energy context and our desire to take an active part in the success of the Canton’s energy strategy.

USPI technical commission
As a member of the Union Suisse des Professionnels de l’Immobilier ( Swiss Union of Real Estate Professions) technical commission, we are convinced that sharing our experience is the best way to tackle the energy transition together. Within this commission, we discuss best practices for an efficient transition.

USPI Green Label
Launched in 2009, the USPI Geneva’s Green Label is an independent programme for energy saving in buildings. The programme sets out measures to generate significant energy savings in the envelope, optimisation and heating categories. Property management companies having received the Green Label have proven that they have taken all measures to provide the owners of properties under management with concrete energy transition solutions. The Green Label is valid for one year only and must be renewed every year.
