Major works and energy department

Managing real estate assets requires specialist technical knowledge. Against the backdrop of climate change, while the building sector is the country’s 2nd leading cause of greenhouse gas emissions, our Major Works & Energy department aims to support our client owners with the energy transition in Geneva and French-speaking Switzerland.

Structure, envelope and energy are some of the areas in which our teams must ensure their knowledge is up to date on a daily basis. Our keen experts are always at the cutting edge of new techniques, technologies and legislative standards in force, in order to provide our clients with assistance and advice towards completing and renovating their real estate projects.

A qualified and skilled team

The Major Works & Energy department can rely on the skills of 4 experts from complementary fields. Federal building certification, heating engineer degree, project management specialist, our team is capable of understanding the issues faced by the buildings entrusted to us as a whole and to bring complex projects to a successful completion.

“We make sustainable development a priority, because we know we have a responsibility to do better.”

Management of complex projects

Envelope insulation, roof renovation, change of heating system, HEP and VHEP transformations, our Major Works and Energy department controls all the aspects of complex projects that a property may face.

Heat consumption index calculations and monitoring of consumption anomalies

Our energy experts precisely calculate Heat Consumption Indexes for our properties and monitor the consumption of our assets under management with care to detect any anomalies. They then act in coordination with our technicians to resolve any issues.

Technical, technological and standard intelligence

We actively take part in USPI technical commissions to keep up to date on all the latest innovations and to share best practices with our colleagues.

The SIG-eco21 programme

Our property management has received SIG-eco21 certification as a company with extensive knowledge of the energy context, actively involved in the Canton’s energy strategy and supporting its clients in coordination with the SIG-eco21 programme.
